NORTHERN ILLINOIS CORVETTE CLUB, INC. (NICC) was organized in 1972 and is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the promotion of CORVETTE automobile ownership and operation, and collection and publication of information relative thereto. The club further encourages others to participate in the ownership and enjoyment connected with the use of the CORVETTE and to that end holds meetings, events, and other gatherings in furtherance of this purpose.

Through the magnetism of the Corvette the club raises funds and supports various local and national non-profit organizations. NICC is a 100% member club of the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC).  Membership is limited to owners of Corvettes.

We are incorporated in the State of Illinois and have elected officers comprising our Board of Directors. Our annual membership of around 73 hails from the surrounding area of our declared home city, Rockford IL.

Club activities include such social events as monthly business meetings, picnics, progressive dinners, parades, winter activities, spring, summer and fall runs, annual holiday parties, golf outings, wine tastings, car shows, as well as competitive events such as rallies and autocross events. Our Facebook link has NICC Event Shirts and many other Corvette-related items for purchase.

NORTHERN ILLINOIS CORVETTE CLUB is a member club of the National Council of Corvette Clubs, Inc. (NCCC). NCCC is a national organization composed of more than 250 Corvette clubs and over 19,000 Corvette owners across the United States. NCCC provides many benefits to its members and their clubs that are made possible only because so many Corvette owners have united and worked together as a group since its inception in 1959. Some of the benefits include third party insurance for sanctioned host liquor liability for those NICC members who are NCCC members, online access to the By-laws, standing rules, and a competition sanctioned program providing consistent rules and guidelines to all events throughout the country, which is comprised of sixteen regions.

NICC is a member of the Midwest Region (MWR) of the National Council of Corvette Clubs, Inc. (NCCC). NCCC provides an online Competition Handbook explaining our organization and competition rules for events such as our shows, rallies, low and high speed autocross events, drags, economy runs, funkhanas, etc. NCCC's insurance covers all these sanctioned events.

National Council's BLUE BARS is published quarterly disseminating information on a National level to all NCCC members.
Since 1977, NICC and its members have chosen and provided benefits to selected charities. NICC has been proud to contribute to the Veterans’ Network Committee of Northern Illinois, several local charitable organizations, which are determined by NICC Charity Committee volunteers who review and recommend suggestions made by NICC members.

Membership in the NORTHERN ILLINOIS CORVETTE CLUB is open to anyone interested in participation and volunteering in the organization and activities of the club. The only stipulation is that you must love and/or own a Corvette to become a member.  The Club just requests that you complete a NICC membership form.

Northern Illinois Corvette Club, Inc. (NICC) provides our monthly newsletter VETTE VISIONS online, nametags to new members, various types of events to benefit our club expenses and charity programs, sponsor discounts, monthly and annual events and social functions.
Handouts at meetings include event flyers, and miscellaneous paraphernalia received from meeting to meeting from Corvette specialty houses, publications, and other NCCC and non-NCCC clubs.
